Ecograf Gruppen

Ecograf is a digital printing company offering a wide range of printed materials and solutions for businesses.

Based on Ecograf’s existing logo and focus on sustainability, I designed and developed a WordPress website using Oxygen. I created a cohesive visual style featuring a green color palette, typography, and custom-designed icons.

The project was developed in close collaboration with Natalia from Ecograf, where we worked to create a user-friendly and flexible website that could grow with the company and accommodate their separate price calculator.

The Challenge

Ecograf needed a website that could present a wide range of products and services in a clear and organized manner.

At the same time, the website had to be flexible and capable of being expanded with new products, pages, and features as the company’s needs evolved.

An important part of the project was to create a structure in which a separately developed price calculator could be seamlessly integrated with the website’s other content and design.

The challenge was therefore to create both a strong visual identity and a technical solution that could grow with the company.

The Solution

Using Ecograf’s existing logo and commitment to sustainability as a starting point, I developed the website’s visual identity. I selected the green color palette and typography, and designed a set of icons that reinforce the company’s messages and create a recognizable overall look.

I built the website in WordPress using Oxygen and created a flexible structure with reusable design elements, so that new products, pages, and content can be added without having to start from scratch with the design.

An important part of the project was to make room for Ecograf’s external price calculator. I adapted the website’s structure so that it could be integrated naturally with the rest of the content and design. The calculator itself was developed by another vendor.

Throughout the process, I worked closely with Natalia from Ecograf. We tested various solutions, fine-tuned the details, and together came up with a structure that suited both the company’s products and its approach to managing the website.

The result

Ecograf now has a modern website with a cohesive visual style, where colors, typography, and custom-designed icons come together to create a recognizable whole.

The flexible structure makes it easy to expand the website with new products, pages, and features. Ecograf has since continued to build upon the design and structure I originally developed.

For me, that’s one of the most important things about a good website: that it doesn’t just work when it’s launched, but also gives the company the opportunity to grow.

At the same time, the project is a good example of how much close collaboration and a willingness to test different ideas can contribute to the final result.

The project was carried out during my time at DKPU in close collaboration with Natalia from Ecograf.
