CemeCon Scandinavia
CemeCon Scandinavia specializes in advanced PVD surface treatment and provides solutions for various industries and applications.
I designed and developed a WordPress website in Bricks using a custom ACF block system that makes it possible to present technical information, products, and technical articles in a clear and organized manner.
The website is available in four languages—Danish, English, German, and Polish—with a focus on a flexible content structure and a consistent design across all languages.

The Challenge
CemeCon offers a wide range of specialized surface treatments and a wealth of technical information that needs to be presented to customers in various markets.
The challenge was to create a modern website where visitors could easily find relevant coatings, understand their applications, and access technical expertise.
At the same time, the content needed to be managed flexibly and function in four languages without compromising the consistency of the structure and visual design.
A solution was therefore needed that combined a well-thought-out design with more advanced content management.
The Solution
I designed and developed the website in WordPress using Bricks and a custom-built system of ACF blocks, which provides the flexibility to build pages with different types of content.
The blocks are tailored to CemeCon’s technical information and make it possible to present text, images, product information, and related content in a consistent design.
I have also worked on creating a more structured framework for the company’s offerings and services so that visitors can more easily navigate among the various solutions.
An important part of the project was “Stories,” where technical articles, news items, and examples from production are compiled in a single overview that can be filtered by topic. This makes it easier to explore the company’s knowledge and experience.
The entire website is also built using WPML, so the content can be managed in Danish, English, German, and Polish. This required special attention to both the custom-developed blocks and the various content types to ensure the solution works across all languages.
The result
CemeCon now has a modern and flexible website where technical information, coatings, and technical articles are organized in a clear and easy-to-navigate structure.
The specially developed block system makes it possible to build different types of pages and present extensive content while maintaining a cohesive design.
With four languages and a structured “Stories” section, CemeCon now has a platform that can be used for product information, technical content, and ongoing updates.
I’m also responsible for hosting the website and assist with technical updates and adjustments as needed. This way, CemeCon has a single point of contact who is familiar with the website’s structure and handles its technical operations.
The project was started during my time at DKPU and completed at my own company, Studio LP.
